At the start of the April 7 meeting the Mission Woods City Council approved the minutes of the March 3, 2026 regular meeting. Councilmember Leslie Carto moved to approve the minutes and Councilmember Dan Sweeney seconded; the motion passed on a 4-0 voice vote with Councilmember Ramsey Mohsen absent.
The council then approved the warrants after a brief discussion about Evergy. Councilmember Dan Sweeney moved to approve and Councilmember Carto seconded; the motion passed 4-0 with Mohsen absent. Later in the meeting Mayor Erica Hartley announced a citywide large-item pickup scheduled for June 13. With no further business, the council adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
