The City Council voted 5–0 Nov. 18 to adopt Ordinance 2025‑O‑21, amending development requirements for the Jordan Bluffs subareas to clarify baseline public-road standards and permit upgraded cross-sections that include parallel parking or wider park strips.
Planning Director Wendelin Knobloch explained that staff inserted the phrase “at minimum” in code language to make the baseline explicit and to allow flexibility for developers to provide improved streetscape treatments. Developer Adam Langford said the on‑street parking and park strip options are intended to support townhome front doors and enhance neighborhood function. The Planning Commission had unanimously recommended approval earlier in the year; the ordinance passed by roll‑call vote 5–0.
