Chair Peter Brzozowy reported that a grant-funded architectural assessment of the town office and the former elementary school has begun and that architects and structural engineers have completed walkthroughs of both buildings.
Selectboard members reviewed a proposed calendar for study meetings, Selectboard presentations, and warned public meetings. Mary-Catherine Graziano will post a public notice on social media to explain the walkthrough activity at Old Town Hall so residents are not surprised by contractor presence. The board noted several pending coordination items for the consultants before a final recommendation is prepared.
The board expects the study to include presentations to the Selectboard and to residents at warned public meetings beginning in October.
