Selectboard reviews culvert closeout, pothole repairs and roadside tree trimming schedule

The Selectboard received a closeout report for the West Shore Road ditching and culvert project; Pat Treckman and Mary‑Catherine Graziano said they completed required paperwork and submitted it for reimbursement.
Road Commissioner Rusty Spaulding (referenced as Commissioner Spaulding) completed the majority of pothole repairs on East and West Shore Roads but left deeper rivulets on East Shore unfilled pending a scheduled review with the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) on Nov. 15. The town compactor has been taken to the commissioner’s property for winterization and the board recommended compiling an inventory and locations of town equipment.
The board also confirmed roadside tree trimming will begin Monday, Nov. 11 for two days (or Nov. 12 if it rains); Richard’s Tree Service will handle flagging after the contracted flagging company could only staff one of the two days. The board expects the tree service to provide signage and flagging for the work area.
