The board accepted a donation of an eclipse-themed piece of artwork from the Isle La Motte Community Organization (ILMCO) during the Aug. 21 meeting. Sylvia Jensen read a letter from ILMCO that was attached to the meeting minutes, and Mary-Catherine Graziano moved to accept the piece; the motion was seconded by Cary Sandvig and passed unanimously.
The Selectboard agreed to store the artwork at the Town Office until members choose a permanent installation location, a decision the board plans to consider in September.
