Pat Treckman said she preferred continuing to rely on volunteers to avoid tax increases, while Sylvia Jensen said a backlog of work may require an initial investment in professional services, followed by volunteer maintenance. Mary-Catherine Graziano suggested exploring a model where businesses receive advertising in exchange for maintaining town areas. The board agreed to continue the discussion at a future meeting.
