Isle La Motte Selectboard approves ARPA allocation to cover municipal payroll through 2024

Selectboard Chair Peter Brzozowy read a resolution into the minutes authorizing the Town to accept its SLFRF allocation and spend it under the Treasury's standard allowance.
The resolution states that "the Town of Isle LaMotte has accepted an allocation of SLFRF in the amount of $148,900.27" and authorizes expenditure of up to that amount "for the purpose of municipal workforce retention to pay for payroll expenses for the period 01/01/2024 through 12/31/2024." After the reading, Selectboard member Cary Sandvig moved to execute the resolution; Mary-Catherine Graziano seconded and the motion was recorded as all in favor.
The board discussed the Treasury guidance allowing a "standard allowance" for lost revenue and confirmed the town may elect that approach. No dissent or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The approval directs staff to apply SLFRF funds within the stated period and purposes; further reporting or accounting will follow Treasury and state guidance for SLFRF expenditures.
