The Isle La Motte Selectboard opened the meeting by acknowledging an Open Meeting Law notice submitted by Fisher & Fisher Law Offices, P.C. on behalf of resident bidder John Yaratz and moved to cure the violation by publicly reviewing the snow-removal bids and ratifying the previously reached consensus. Selectboard Chair Peter Brzozowy said the board would remedy the procedural oversights and implement policy changes: "The Board regrets these oversights and will revise its policies and procedures to prevent such violations in the future."
In a public review the Selectboard presented the four three‑year bids: G&G Lawn Care ($535,000), Noble’s Construction ($504,000), Palmer Construction ($772,725), and a $600,000 bid by John Yaratz. The board reiterated evaluation factors—cost, contractor experience, equipment availability, and contingency planning—and voted to ratify the earlier consensus to award the contract to Noble’s Construction and execute the multi‑year agreement. Attendees raised questions about bid interpretation and equipment requirements; the board said the awarded bidder satisfied documentation requirements and that a copy of the awarded bid and the signed contract will be attached as an exhibit to the meeting minutes.
