Selectboard schedules public review of town plan; NRPC reports building surveys nearly complete

Emily Klofft of the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) presented an overview of the latest draft of the Isle La Motte town plan and told the Selectboard that a public review with board members present is planned for Nov. 6. Klofft said the Selectboard will discuss their comments at the Oct. 16 meeting, after which a final draft will be issued for public review.
NRPC director Catherine Dimitruk reported that architectural and structural reviews for the town's two buildings are complete and that surveyors had useful historic documents to inform their findings. Dimitruk said remaining open items will be addressed in the final survey report, which will be included in the Nov. 6 town-plan discussion to guide public feedback about next steps for the buildings.
