Selectboard approves Isle La Motte Town Plan following public hearing

The Isle La Motte Selectboard voted unanimously on Nov. 6 to accept the Town Plan following the public hearing. Mary‑Catherine Graziano moved to adopt the plan; Joe Deller seconded and the motion passed with all in favor. Chair Peter Brzozowy thanked the Town Planning Commission for its work.
Charlie Andrews sought to propose modifications after the public review had closed, but Chair Brzozowy said changes would not occur at that meeting. Emily Klofft of the Northwest Regional Planning Commission told the board that any future changes to the plan would require readoption. The Selectboard also announced a hybrid regional review of the Town Municipal Plan scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 20; meeting access information will be posted on the town website.
Next steps: the plan is adopted and will follow the town’s standard readoption process for any future amendments. No implementation directives or specific zoning changes were issued at the Nov. 6 meeting.
