Informational meeting set for pavilion project; Selectboard warns against casual use of ‘ARPA’ label

Sylvia Jensen said the Isle La Motte Community Organization (ILMCO) will attend the Oct. 26 meeting and send an informational letter to residents addressing the pavilion project. The board requested care in using the term “ARPA” because, as Brzozowy noted, the funds in question have been moved into the town’s operating budget and “are no longer legally considered ARPA funds,” so references should be accurate for clarity in the public process.
The Selectboard did not take a vote on the pavilion at this meeting; the informational session is intended to answer resident questions before any formal article action at the warned meeting.
