The Isle La Motte Selectboard convened Aug. 21, 2024, and approved routine administrative items, including past meeting minutes and payroll warrants. Chair Peter Brzozowy called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM; members present included Mary-Catherine Graziano, Cary Sandvig and Pat Treckman.
On motions by Mary-Catherine Graziano and seconded by Pat Treckman, the board approved the Regular Meeting minutes for Aug. 7 and the Special Meeting minutes for Aug. 12. The board also approved a payroll transfer of $694.36 for federal and state withholding obligations and a payroll warrant totaling $3,431.79. All votes on these administrative items were recorded as "all in favor."
Later in the meeting the board approved earmarking $1,000 from remaining ARPA funds for Town Office maintenance equipment; the motion was made by Mary-Catherine Graziano, seconded by Cary Sandvig, and passed unanimously. The board also granted the Public Library permission to place holiday decorations at Old Town Hall and Town Hall and approved volunteers to set up and remove seasonal displays. The meeting adjourned at 7:58 PM.
