Village Planner Christian Waterval updated council that a recent development review on NE 24th Street had generated most major expenses but that the developer had not yet submitted completed application materials. The planner said additional consultant review would be required only if another application is submitted.
Village Attorney Pamala Ryan clarified the fee structure: developers must remit a $1,300 consultant fee in addition to the application fee; the developer pays the Village as part of the process and the Village in turn pays the planner for review work. Council noted future consultant costs will generally be tied to new development applications.
