At its Aug. 11 meeting, the City of Ingalls Council approved a Fiscal Sustainability plan for the Ingalls WWWTF (wastewater treatment facility) improvements. Council Member Stacy Reist moved to approve the plan, Tina Marquez seconded, and the motion was recorded as carried and approved by all.
Earlier in the meeting the council discussed old-business infrastructure items: scheduling Mayer to clean sewer lines in September and reviewing a Kansas Water Office (KWO) grant for water tower repairs. Dan provided a Water Works report that included an update on the lift station. The minutes do not list grant amounts, timelines for the WWWTF project, or specific contractor assignments beyond the planned September cleaning.
