The Selectboard approved and ratified routine warrants presented at the meeting. Motions to ratify payables for October 8 ($32,900), payroll for October 5 ($3,884.42), a payroll transfer for IRS and Vermont Department of Taxes ($733.66), and payables for October 10 ($6,449.71) were each moved, seconded, and approved by voice vote.
Separately, Treasurer Mary LaBrecque explained that a change in state law had delayed the 2024 tax sale and that the previously approved attorney changed their firm name; the board voted unanimously to retain SP&F Attorneys, PC to conduct the Town tax sale beginning in October 2024.
