Selectboard updates: pothole repairs, roadside trimming progress and winter sand box approved

Chair Peter Brzozowy reported that contractor Rusty Spaulding filled additional potholes on East Shore Road and inspected debris at the storage shed; Spaulding will provide a quote to remove unusable materials. Roadside trimming was reported complete on Nobles Hill Road, East Shore Road and half of Church Street, and Bruce Noble told Pat Treckman he was satisfied with the results and confident his snow equipment can operate on trimmed roads.
The board approved a sand/salt box for resident use at the Town Office with a maximum expense of $600 to support winter operations. Members identified remaining high-priority trimming on West Shore Road and New Road and discussed identifying funds from other line items to pay for an additional two days of work this year. Trimmed wood has been left for property owners to use or share.
