Director Jim Banas moved and Director Michelle Farnell seconded a motion to change the district's regular board meeting date to the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m., beginning in September; the motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent Rick Winters recommended the change during his report, citing the district's four-day school week as the reason for the proposal. The board adopted the calendaring change without additional conditions; the district will hold future regular meetings on the new schedule unless the board votes otherwise.
