Superintendent Winter reported several operational items to the board at the Dec. 19 meeting. He said the Transportation Manager is looking at funding options for an electric school bus, the district will discuss the 2025–26 school calendar with staff and share it at the Jan. 16 meeting, and the attorneys have completed the Policy 1000 Series review and staff will move forward on next steps.
Directors asked staff to explain how the Policy 1000 Series process will proceed. Chairman Churape also noted attending the district Christmas program and expressed satisfaction with the turnout. The minutes record these as staff updates; no formal board action on these items was taken at the meeting.
