Library grant, sold-out Chamber event and new sign designs highlighted at Gregory council meeting

Library Director Tara Engel said the STEAM Club Flight Path program continues and the library will receive 80 new books through the Pilcro grant; Chamber Director Jaimie Braun reported the Feb. 7 Murder Mystery is sold out (~200 attendees) and Ryler Stevicks presented sign designs for highway and intersection signage that the council asked staff to get price quotes for.
Library Director Tara Engel reported on the STEAM Club Flight Path program (bird safety and window-sticker outreach), said the library will soon receive 80 new books through the Pilcro grant, noted a new handicap parking sign, and said a handmade Free Library has been installed out front.
Chamber Director Jaimie Braun told the council the Murder Mystery event on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, is sold out with about 200 people expected. Meanwhile, Ryler Stevicks presented design concepts for signs at the 44/47 intersection and at Highway 18 marking the town’s east and west entrances; the council asked staff to gather additional price quotes for materials and labor and bring options to a future meeting.
