Public commenter Casey cleared to apply for two town grants

Casey described one request as a roughly $500 TD-style grant to replace a damaged bridle and said a second application, for the Green Mountain Fund, could be as much as $5,000 for repair and upgraded security for town sheds. “I really have to submit that by Friday,” Casey said, asking the board to approve proceeding without a town match.
Chair sought a motion to approve Casey’s applications; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The board recorded that neither grant would require town-matching funds. The chair requested that Casey coordinate with the town office staff if the applications require additional information.
The board did not set additional conditions and asked staff to log the requests before the next meeting.
