Judiciary and legislative IT officials propose shared uptime dashboards for core services

Multiple IT leaders suggested public or internal dashboards showing service availability so branch users and constituents could see when services are up or down; the judiciary said it already maintains monitoring and offered to demo its dashboard.
A judiciary IT official told JITOC the judiciary has developed dashboards that show service availability for outside constituents and IT teams, and urged similar dashboards across all three branches so users can see which services are running. The official said they had resorted to setting up their own monitoring of executive-branch services to check availability.
Kevin Moore said his office had previously displayed small monitors with service-delivery status and is open to considering publicly posting dashboards if useful to judicial and ADS staff. Secretary Rao asked for specificity in any MOU about which systems would be covered and said a demo of existing dashboards would be welcome.
