ADS says ERP rollout "moving forward" while committee seeks details on scope and costs

The Agency of Digital Services told the Joint Information Technology Oversight Committee that the statewide Enterprise Resource Planning project remains "moving forward," with contracts signed for implementation and business-process work.
"The status is still the same as it was…we're still moving forward," Denise Matthews, state CIO and secretary for the Agency of Digital Services, told the committee. She said Guidehouse is the implementation vendor and a separate vendor has been retained for business-process transformation; product licenses have been procured.
Committee members pressed for clarity on requirements, whether Workday — the chosen product platform — can meet all three branches' needs, and whether all stakeholder groups have been brought into scoping. Denise Matthews said the project team has documented workflows and that business-process transformation funding was appropriated to support those efforts. She emphasized the work is driven by administrative and operational changes and advised the branches to participate early in change sessions.
The committee did not adopt any formal motions or votes during this update; members scheduled a brief recess and planned to reconvene for continued discussion.
