Selectboard reaffirms officers and makes routine appointments

The Leicester Selectboard opened the meeting with routine reorganizational business and approved a slate of officers and local representatives. Moderator (S3) nominated Diane Benwick for chair and the board approved the nomination by voice vote; S1 then opened nominations for vice chair and the board approved Tom Barker.
The board also reaffirmed a series of local representatives. S1 said John Rouss will continue as the buildings-and-grounds representative, Arlen was confirmed as tree warden, and Richard Reid was named the solid-waste representative. S1 moved to appoint Sandy as clerk, and the board agreed. "Hearing none, all those in favor…say aye," S1 said when taking voice votes. The meeting recorded approval by voice for first constable Jeff McDonough and second constable Mike Ratkowitz.
