Eden Town Plan adopted; town declined enhanced energy compliance

The Lamoille County Planning Commission voted to approve the Eden Town Plan on Feb. 24 after a staff overview and a PPR recommendation. Dick Goff moved to approve the plan; Marina Meerburg seconded and the motion carried with 11 ayes, no nays, and no abstentions.
Alec Jones said he worked with the Planning Commission and the Selectboard to add housing targets and to update an outdated broadband section. Jeff Tilton reported that the PPR recommends approval of the plan and the planning process. The minutes note that Eden chose not to seek Enhanced Energy Compliance as part of its submission.
