Hyde Park Town and Village municipal plan approved with energy compliance determination

The Lamoille County Planning Commission on Feb. 24 approved the joint Hyde Park Town and Village Municipal Plan and its Determination of Energy Compliance. Jeff Tilton moved the approval; Judy Bickford seconded and the motion carried with 11 ayes, no nays, and no abstentions.
Meghan Rodier presented the plan and noted packet materials included two checklists: one for the Plan and one for Determination of Energy Compliance. Jeff Tilton, reporting for the Planning & Project Review Committee, recommended approval of the Plan, the planning process, and the Determination of Energy Compliance. The Board also voted to confirm Hyde Park’s planning process in a separate motion recorded with the same unanimous tally.
The Board’s vote completes the county-level review required for the plan to be recorded in Lamoille County’s municipal planning records. The minutes do not list any public testimony objecting to the plan during the hearing; the hearing was opened and closed by motion before the approval votes.
