Selectboard Chair Thomas Cavanagh called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM and the board entered executive session at 4:32 PM after a motion by Taylor Prouty that was seconded by James Ameden and approved unanimously.
Minutes state that Town Administrator Shane O’Keefe and Town Administrator candidates were invited to the executive session. The minutes record timed entries: George Zoukee entered the executive session at 4:45 PM and left at 5:15 PM; Andy Dahlstrom entered at 5:42 PM and left at 6:18 PM; and Aileen Tulloch entered at 6:35 PM and left at 7:09 PM. The board left executive session at 7:27 PM and the meeting adjourned at 7:28 PM.
The record in this meeting does not name a specific candidate for hire in the public motion; later in the meeting the board voted to authorize the chair to negotiate conditions with a candidate and bring a final hiring decision to a future board meeting. The minutes also note the next regular Selectboard meeting as “1/20/2025”; that date appears in the minutes but predates this special meeting and may be a clerical error in the record.
