The Benton County Board of Adjustment elected its leadership at the start of the Feb. 19, 2026 meeting. Chad Erdmann moved to nominate Dan Gottwalt as chair; Kevin Renslow seconded, the motion carried and Dan assumed the chair. Kevin Renslow then moved to nominate Roy Schneider as vice-chair; Dan seconded and that motion also carried unanimously.
The leadership selections were part of routine organizational business that immediately preceded approval of the meeting agenda and minutes. No public comment was recorded on the nominations.
