Commission reviews stormwater and road inventory; flags outdated hydrology figures
Summary
Members cite inventory figures showing 534 'rogue segments' in Kirby, of which 256 are hydrologically connected; they note priority segments were addressed but a recent flood and timing gaps mean Marla must update the inventory this summer.

Committee member (speaker 3) read inventory numbers aloud: "So it currently says, according to the inventory, Kirby has a total of 534 rogue segments with 256 segments being considered hydrologically connected. Of the 256 segments, the inventory shows that 7.04 miles fully meet standards, 1.92 miles partially meet standards, and 6.62 miles do not meet standards."
Members discussed that some high-priority road segments were completed ahead of other towns and that a recent flood changed conditions. The commission asked staff (Marla) to finalize the inventory updates over the summer so the transportation section and Exhibit 5 reflect current conditions. No formal funding decision or action was taken at the meeting.
