At its Aug. 4 meeting the Selectboard approved several administrative items intended to support town operations and communications.
By unanimous vote the board approved an updated Fee Schedule for Public Records Requests and a Scanner Use Agreement allowing other towns to use the large-format scanner; the scanner agreement had been reviewed by the Town Attorney. Allison Marino announced that a new bulletin board and drop box will be installed at the Town Office within weeks. The board also authorized staff to purchase window coverings for the John Morse Room, selecting an option up to $4,500; estimates ranged between $3,000 and $5,000 for different materials and mounting options.
Town Administrator Aileen Tulloch suggested the Selectboard identify five state legislative priorities and recommended a brainstorming session with possible facilitation by the Vermont League of Cities and Towns or Windham Regional Commission staff. The Selectboard did not formalize the five priorities at this meeting but asked staff to seek consultant suggestions and schedule a facilitation session.
