LCPC reports $1M in planning CDBG approvals and $3.5M expected for Morrisville project

During the Executive Director’s report, Tasha Wallis told the Board that LCPC had unofficial notification of approval for two of five Community Development Block Grant planning projects for a combined planning grant of roughly $1,000,000, with about half budgeted for consultants and half for staff time. Separately, Wallis said LCPC’s application on behalf of the Village of Morrisville should receive approximately $3,500,000 for that project.
Linda Martin told the Board the Commission’s finances are in good shape; she said a few grants are not yet reflected in the budget and will be added in the mid-year budget review scheduled for January. The Board did not take a formal vote on these items at the meeting but instructed staff to include confirmed grant amounts in the January budget update.
