Tom Cavanagh told the Planning Commission on Nov. 11 that Londonderry is among towns FEMA is interested in helping to develop a long-term recovery plan and relationship. Cavanagh said the effort could make grants available and that two Select Board members may be appointed to represent the town in work with FEMA.
Cavanagh described the initiative as a long-term project and said more information will be provided as the Select Board and staff clarify next steps. The minutes record no formal appointments or budget decisions at the Nov. 11 meeting; any representation and grant applications would require subsequent Select Board action.
