The Planning Commission voted Oct. 28 to ask Zoning Administrator Will Goodwin to forward a recommendation for uniform signage standards for businesses in commercial districts to the Select Board. Will outlined a proposal to apply the same rules to all businesses in commercial-zoned districts and asked whether the commission wished him to pass that recommendation on.
"Will then asked if the planning commission wanted him to pass on the recommendation of a single commercial uniform signage standard for businesses in commercial zoned district to the select board," the minutes note. Trevor Powers moved that Will forward the recommendation, Jen Greenfield seconded, and the motion carried. The recommendation now goes to the Select Board for their consideration; no Select Board action was taken at this meeting.
