Shortly afterward, the board unanimously elected James Blue as vice-president on a motion by Kelsey Hartman, seconded by Patty Talley. The meeting began at 6:00 p.m. with Terry Powell calling the meeting to order and announcing members present.
The leadership votes were taken as part of routine organizational business at the start of the fiscal-year planning meeting. The board also approved an amended agenda that added the resignation of Jaedyn Miller, head junior-high girls basketball coach, and then proceeded to the consent agenda and other business.
