The Londonderry Selectboard approved a Green Mountain Power (GMP) agreement for work on Under the Mountain Road on the condition that GMP submit the required filing fee and a Road Access Right of Way permit. Road Foreman Josh Dryden and Town Attorney Bob Fisher raised questions that the board resolved, and GMP's Tim Jones said he would return with the filing fee and permit as soon as possible so work can begin in August.
The board agreed the town does not have a specific Road Access Right of Way permit form and will adapt the Town of Halifax's Driveway Right of Way form for future applications. Taylor Prouty moved to approve the agreement conditioned on submission of the fee and permit application; James Ameden seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The minutes record no further modifications to the agreement and note the board's authorization is contingent on GMP's completion of the permit filing and fee payment.
