Planning Commission sets regular schedule, approves remote‑meeting option
Summary
The Planning Commission voted to hold meetings on the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 6 p.m. at Town Hall and authorized the chair to hold remote meetings as permitted by law until the town office is available.
At the Sept. 16 meeting, Commissioner Pamela Spaulding moved that the Planning Commission hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 139 Middletown Road, South Londonderry; the motion, seconded by Commissioner Stephen Twitchell, was affirmed by vote.
The motion also authorized the chair to hold meetings without a physical presence using publicly available remote meeting software, “as permitted by applicable law,” until such time as the town office becomes available. The commission directed that agendas be posted at least two days prior to meetings on the town website and in three physical locations: the two village post offices and the town hall/town office.
Members discussed remote meeting technology and recording during the meeting; those operational and posting details will be part of the rules-of-procedure discussion tabled to the next meeting.
