Hillary De Carlo, who led the meeting, told the caller that the commission had received the application and would send notices to landowners who touch the property. The applicant, Nick, confirmed during the call that the house is a four‑bedroom, 2.5‑bath property and that "we would limit it to 8 people, adults or children," which the commission said generally aligns with its two‑persons‑per‑bedroom guidance. Commissioners asked Nick to pull septic records and present them at the hearing so the board can confirm whether the wastewater system can support the proposed occupancy.
The commission said it would follow state timing rules for notices and decisions; participants referenced a roughly 120‑day completeness rule and a 45‑day decision window as guidance for scheduling. The hearing was scheduled after commissioners moved the item to March because the first Tuesday in March conflicted with the town meeting. The hearing will take place at town hall and will include the opportunity for neighbors to comment.
