President Terry Powell and board member Patty Talley presented demographic breakdowns, priority rankings, and consistent themes the board said will inform next steps.
Powell and Talley said safety and security and limiting tax impact emerged as the top priorities across both survey populations. Board materials and presenters framed the survey as part of a multi-year process tied to an expiring bond and aging facilities; the board announced community roundtables beginning in August and continuing in September 2026 to solicit further input. The presentation concluded with the board thanking attendees and noting the district will adjust its approach based on the feedback received.
