Selectboard approves liquor licenses, a highway-access permit and several appointments

During its May 19 meeting the Selectboard approved several permits, licenses and board appointments.
Motions passed unanimously to: appoint Steve Bergleitner to the Parks Board for a three-year term ending 04/30/2028 (moved by Taylor Prouty); appoint Gary Hedman to the Conservation Commission for a four-year term ending 05/31/2029 (moved by Jim Fleming); approve Highway Access Permit No. 2025-01 for Capucine & Sabrina Barr for a new highway access at East 318 Old Sawmill Rd and authorize the Chair to sign; approve 1st and 3rd class liquor licenses for Upper Tamarack, Inc. related to 420 Magic Mountain Access Road; and approve 1st and 3rd class liquor licenses and an outdoor consumption permit for Smith Foodservice Hospitality & Entertainment, LLC (Revival Kitchen) at 3928 Vermont Route 11.
The minutes note that the Barr permit is for temporary highway access and that any future change of use would require zoning-board approval. The board recorded no dissent in these votes.
