Selectboard signs annual VTrans certification, agrees to pursue FY2025 highway grant and approves an excess weight permit

O'Keefe recommended applying yearly for the VTrans FY2025 Municipal Highway Grant (for structures or Class 2 paving) despite the town typically receiving awards only every seven years; possible projects under consideration include Windy Rise Lane West. The board agreed to place the application back on the agenda and to consult Road Foreman Josh Dryden before the next meeting.
Separately, on a motion by Taylor Prouty the board approved an excess vehicle weight permit for Record Concrete, Inc. and authorized the Town Administrator to execute the permit.
