At its March 9 meeting the USD 417 Board approved employment matters and accepted multiple resignations effective at the conclusion of the 2025–26 school year. The board approved hiring Rebecka Goodwin as a substitute cook and accepted resignations from Jacy True (PHES 4th-grade teacher), Michelle Ford (JH assistant volleyball coach), Mindy Stilwell (JH social studies teacher and assistant high-school coach), Tawnie Talib (CGES teacher aide/SSR support) and Destiny Barnett (CGES 4th-grade teacher).
The motion to approve employment matters was made by TinaRae Scott and seconded by Patty Talley; the vote was 7-0. The board recorded the personnel actions in open session after several executive sessions related to superintendent evaluation and non-elected personnel.
