Board approves consent agenda and multiple operational items including ACT, contracts and fund transfers

The consent agenda approved General Fund encumbrances (275–317) totaling $77,107.86; General Fund warrants (501–816) totaling $1,197,970.86; Building Fund encumbrances 51–55 totaling $79,602.33; Building Fund warrants 38–60 totaling $69,954.77; Child Nutrition Fund warrants (47–74) totaling $52,223.17; Activity Fund encumbrances (199–354) totaling $170,260.56; and Activity Fund warrants (114–264) totaling $113,740.10. Larry Johnson moved to approve the consent agenda; Mark O'Neal seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Separately, the board approved additions to the 2024–25 substitute list; approved transferring $8,306.85 from the Child Nutrition Activity Fund to the Child Nutrition Fund for 2023–24; approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chickasaw Nation Division of Nutrition Services; approved a psychometry contract with Micah Foraker; sanctioned the Marlow Softball Parent Association and the Ag Boosters Parent Association as outside groups for 2024–25; and approved a Work Adjustment Training proposal to pursue potential Department of Rehabilitative Services grant eligibility. The board also approved the ACT as the College and Career Readiness assessment for Marlow High School for 2024–25. All motions carried on recorded unanimous votes.
These votes authorize routine fiscal and program actions, enable vendor and intergovernmental agreements, and set the district’s assessment instrument for the year.
