The Marlow Public Schools board voted to approve several contracts and program agreements for the 2024–25 school year at its Aug. 8 meeting. Approved items include participation in the South Central Oklahoma On-Line Cooperative, a contract with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education for secondary programs, approval of math and science courses from Red River Technology Center for credit, and a Transition Services Collaborative Agreement for fiscal year 2025 with the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. Each motion was recorded as carrying with unanimous votes.
Board members recorded motions and seconds for each contract: the online cooperative motion was made by Chad Choate and seconded by Larry Johnson; the CareerTech contract motion was made by Chad Choate and seconded by Larry Johnson; Red River Technology Center course credit approval was moved by Mark O'Neal and seconded by Terry Turner; the Transition Services agreement was moved by Larry Johnson and seconded by Mark O'Neal. These agreements establish curricular, online learning, and transition-service relationships for the coming year.
