At the March 17 meeting the Londonderry Selectboard completed its organizational business, electing officers and making several administrative designations.
Tom Cavanagh was elected Selectboard chair and James Ameden was elected vice chair in unanimous votes. The board set its regular meeting schedule to the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall while the Town Office renovations continue, and authorized meetings by remote attendance where permitted by law. The board designated the Vermont Journal as the town’s newspaper of record and designated the Londonderry Town Office (Twitchell Building) and the two post offices in Londonderry and South Londonderry for physical posting of required notices. The board appointed Cavanagh as the Selectboard member authorized to sign warrants and pay orders pursuant to 24 VSA Section 1623(a)(1).
These actions were procedural and passed unanimously; no contested nominations or dissent were recorded in the minutes.
