The Town of Londonderry Planning Commission paused its agenda on Oct. 23, 2024, so that Matt Bachler of the Windham Regional Commission could lead a training session for commissioners. Chair Jen Greenfield called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. before the training began.
Bachler conducted a slide presentation and discussion lasting approximately one and a half hours covering town government structure, responsibilities and functions, and how state and regional entities apply to municipal planning. The session was recorded in the minutes as a focused, instructional presentation intended to orient commissioners to statutory and intergovernmental roles in planning.
Commissioners voted to commence the training after a motion by Pam Spaulding and a second by Brent Bammarito. The training occupied the central portion of the meeting and was followed by continued old-business items and committee updates later in the evening. The minutes do not record verbatim remarks or a public Q&A transcript from the session.
