Renee Baker, the city finance officer, presented a batch of abatement applications the Pennington County Department of Equalization recommended after determining mobile-home structures had been removed or destroyed from the listed properties. Baker said city staff reviewed each request and raised no objections, and the committee voted to forward the items to the City Council with a recommendation of approval.
Baker read multiple tax ID numbers into the record and noted one parcel carried a Rapid City mailing address despite being in Box Elder’s jurisdiction; staff confirmed the parcels certify under Box Elder. The committee recorded affirmative voice votes to forward the abatements.
