Administrator Jeff Wilbourn told the Board the siren vendor requires full payment before beginning installation on an Omni‑Warn siren project funded by an 80/20 grant. Although the Town had previously approved the grant and the Town's 20% match, Wilbourn said the Town will pay the full project cost and submit for grant reimbursement after project completion.
Mayor Donna Weber moved to approve the payment; Trustee Kenneth Massey seconded the motion. Trustees Lanny Thompson, Kenneth Massey, Aaron Head and Donna Weber voted yea and the motion carried. Staff will arrange payment and follow the grant reimbursement process.
