City Manager Dea Mandevill reported several facility and community updates at the March 11 meeting. She told the council that the Civic Center stage and kitchen door were updated, repairs had been made to the Palmer door by John Crocker, and paint work had been completed. The minutes record that the ambulance had four runs that day and that the fire department was assisting nearby Lamont.
Mandevill also reported events and projects: Skate Night drew approximately 30 attendees, the burn pile was open, the Easter Egg Hunt was scheduled for March 30 at 2 p.m., the irrigation project was expected to be finished later in the week, and 14 golf permits had been issued as of the meeting date. The minutes also note staff were awaiting updates from Kanokla and that Wakita had invited Medford EMS and the City Manager to discuss subscription options.
