Proctor also raised accessibility concerns, saying several cul‑de‑sacs and an ADA ramp at Trella and Melody are outdated or lack compliant curb cuts, forcing people using mobility devices into the street. She suggested a short‑term three‑minute drop‑off area on Cole Street near the library to reduce dangerous shortcuts through neighborhood streets when Cole Street is closed.
Councilmembers acknowledged the requests during committee reports; the comment was recorded in public comment and committee reports rather than as a formal agenda item, and staff did not present a specific timetable or budget at the meeting for the requested measures.
