MEDA lists industrial park with Sites Ready program, pursues grants and listings

At its April 8 meeting the Medford Economic Development Authority heard that the 2nd Industrial Park has been listed in the U.S. Department of Commerce 'Sites Ready' program. The Economic Development Director said staff are gathering information from multiple agencies to pursue grant opportunities and intend to list a 1‑acre lot in the Industrial Park with a realtor. The director also reported the Oklahoma Walking Club will visit Medford on April 13 and recommended considering a TextMyGov notification program.
MEDA approved March 11, 2024 minutes, accepted a March financial report for $126,367.32, and approved claims for $126,365.12; motions carried with recorded votes Knigge – Yes; Zeman – Yes; Bowen – Yes. The minutes also note continued work on the 81 Feed & Seed USDA RBDG application.
