Grant Administrator Leslie Wilbourn told the Board the Town was not awarded the TSET Built Environment Healthy Food Grant nor the Municipal Road Drilling Activity Fund for the current cycle. She said 22 applications were submitted to TSET and only two awards were made to larger-foundation applicants, and that Lincoln County received awards on two of four MRDA applications in the region.
Mrs. Wilbourn said feedback suggested future TSET applications would benefit from more specific detail on the proposed use of funds; she plans to coordinate with staff to revise applications and bring proposed reapplications before the Board in the next grant cycle.
